A warm welcome to our website.
The band has been playing music to the people of the North-West of England since it began in 1973. It has played in countries across Europe and in America and raised almost £1,000,000 for UK charities. It currently comprises of over 30 musicians of outstanding calibre, who give their time and efforts for free.

2011 Review
The year was quite a busy one for the Band, playing to packed out venues across the the North West. Notable events were the annual Ernie Waites’ Festival of Music in April, the sunshine challenged Sale Festival in June and of course, the North West Festival of Remembrance in November. Not forgetting the marvellous shows put on by the dedicated teams of organisers
at Sale, Altrincham, Timperley, Wythenshawe and Leigh.
We hope everyone enjoyed the music.
Sneaking a peek at 2012 we have repeat performances booked for our favourite shows and are working on new programmes that will further challenge the Band and delight our audiences.
