The band has spent the last few months preparing for a new CD recording which took place over two weekends in February and March. They were hard working days but we're pleased with the results so far. The band are sounding tighter than ever after the gruelling sessions Ivan has put us through!
Later in the year, June 12th to be exact, we're performing as part of the Sale Festival at Walkden Gardens in Sale (opposite the Sale Hotel on Marsland Rd). Hopefully the weather will be kind as it's an outdoor extravaganza full of songs from the shows, wartime medleys, big band hits and a few classical and film hits for good measure. Looking further ahead in 2010, the band make a very welcome return to the newly refurbished Plaza theatre in Stockport. Our Remembrance concert during the afternoon of Sunday the 7th November promises to again be solemn yet hopeful, respectful yet full of fun as we, and our special guests, pay tribute to the brave men and women that fought (and are still fighting) for our country's ideals. With a donation to the marvellous Help For Heroes campaign, it's sure to bring a tear to everyone's eye.
